Key Responsibilities
● Regulatory Compliance:
- Liaise with government bodies, including the Malawi Revenue Authority, to ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations.
- Oversee the acquisition and renewal of business licenses and permits.
- Financial Management:
- Reconcile and track all company expenses, bank accounts, and mobile money wallets.
- Maintain financial records in an audit-ready format for presentation to management, the board, and regulatory bodies.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with our vibrant local team in Blantyre.
- Report directly to the head office team in Zimbabwe, ensuring seamless communication and operational alignment.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably with exposure to regulatory environments in Malawi.
- Familiarity with the sports betting industry is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication abilities to coordinate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in financial reconciliation and reporting systems.
- College diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Remuneration
The compensation package will be competitive and commensurate with your experience and the practical value you bring to the company. Expected range between 400K – 800K MWK/ month for the right candidate.

2. Marketing Assistant/Coordinator

Overview:
Moors World of Sport is seeking a vibrant, motivated, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant/Coordinator. This role is pivotal to the growth and development of our Malawi operations in the competitive sports betting and gaming industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance the company’s brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including:
○ Merchandising experts.
○ Shop fit-out professionals.
○ Billboard and outdoor advertising vendors.
○ Brand marketing agencies.
○ Media buying houses. (Radio, TV & other) - Identify and capitalize on new marketing opportunities to position Moors World of Sport as a market leader
- Coordinate promotional campaigns across online and retail platforms to boost customer acquisition and retention.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to meet targets.
- Manage budgets related to marketing initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in marketing, with a track record of success in brand development and campaign execution.
- Strong network and contacts within Malawi’s marketing industry, including media, merchandising, and advertising sectors.
- Knowledge of the sports betting or gaming industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- College diploma or equivalent . Bachelor’s or Masters degree is a plus.

3. Customer Support Agent – Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Agent in our Contact Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients in Malawi. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a crucial role in resolving inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and issues through various communication channels (phone, email, chat).
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanour.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Effectively navigate and utilize the company’s customer support systems and databases.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to address customer needs.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support as needed.
- Reports to the Customer Service Team Leader
Qualifications and Requirements
- Fluent in both English, Chichewa & Nyanja (written and spoken).
- Some experience in customer service or a related role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with customer support systems and tools is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
