PMI Evolve Malawi Project is funded by the U.S President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI/USAID to support the Ministry of Health through the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) in the distribution of Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) in 5 districts during the 2024 mass ITN distribution campaign with the overall goal of reducing the burden of malaria. The PMI Evolve project is implemented by Abt Global LLC.
PMI Evolve Malawi Project, with support from the District Councils and NMCP, is hiring temporary staff to support the distribution of ITNs in the 5 districts namely Balaka, Mangochi, Nkhotakota, Nkhata Bay and Salima. All the posts are temporary, with a duration of 10-20 days.

Job descriptions and qualifications required for the positions.
Security Guards (112)
Specific responsibilities:
- Ensure security at the storage area.
- Allow only authorized personnel to enter a storeroom, following guidance from the storekeeper.
- Ensure that the store areas are always clean, locked when not occupied.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Should have at least MSCE or above.
- Those with guarding experience will have added advantage.
- Willingness to work in any assigned location in the district.
- Understand and communicate in the local language of the community.
- Willingness to work during odd hours.
- Applicants should be aged 25 years old and above.
- Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Remuneration package is MWK7,000 per day
