VACANCY

Chibuku Products Limited, the manufacturer and distributor of Chibuku ShakeShake and Chibuku Super opaque beer, and other non-alcoholic beverages such as Super Maheu, invites applications from passionate and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacant positions:

GENERAL FITTERS

These positions are tenable at our Lilongwe, Blantyre, Mzuzu and Mangochi Breweries. Successful candidates will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be expected to ensure efficient and effective installation, repair and maintenance of Plant and Machinery so that they are in good running condition at all times.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Prevention of frequent machine and plant breakdown.
• Address and resolve any faults with machinery as directed.
• Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedule.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to all the time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Must have a minimum of a good MSCE, and a Grade 1 National Trade Test Certificate in General Fitting.
• At least 2 years of experience in plant installation and maintenance in a standardised manufacturing environment.
• A Technician Diploma in Mechanics with at least 1 year of experience will be an added advantage.
• No criminal record
