TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OF MALAWIAN WORKERS IN THE AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN ISRAEL:

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Ministry of Labour is inviting applications from suitable Malawian candidates to apply for temporary employment opportunities in the Agriculture Sector in the State of Israel.

2.0 Requirements for the Candidates

All applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a Malawian national with a valid Malawian passport and Identity Card;
  2. Be between 23-39 years of age at the date of application;
  3. Have no first-degree relatives working or residing in Israel (with the exception of siblings)
  4. Have never previously worked in Israel and have never previously participated in agricultural work-study in Israel;
  5. Have significant previous experience in agricultural work; and
  6. Proficiency in speaking of English language

3.0 Employment Duration and Wage
All successful candidates will be engaged into the Program for a contract period of 60 months (5 Years). Successful candidates who take up employment will be paid a wage not less than the Minimum wage prescribed by the Israel Law. Full details of the Terms and Conditions of employment will be made available to the shortlisted candidates.

4.0 Application Method
