Political Economy and Change Management Expert

VNG International implements projects to support local governance and decentralisation. For these projects, we employ experts for both short-and long-term assignments. To expand its network of expertise in Malawi, VNG International is recruiting the following profiles.

Political Economy and Change Management Expert

• A University Degree in political science, political economy, public administration, sociology, economics, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience working in the field of political economy, preferably in a developing country context.
• Experience conducting analyses on political and economic issues and related to change management within reforming institutions, analysing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Experience effectively and credibly facilitating dialogue among a variety of stakeholders and facilitating viable solutions identification on complex legal, administrative, and public finance,
• Experience using analysis to design and implement effective change management programs inside institutions.
• Experience working with government agencies, civil society organizations, or international development organizations on political economy issues.
• Experience in 3 or more similar projects, preferably in developing countries or Sub- Saharan Africa.
