INVITATION TO TENDER

FOR THE PROVISION OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES ON AGENCY RETAINER CONTRACT TO OLD MUTUAL (MALAWI) LIMITED FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS

Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited and its subsidiaries Old Mutual Life Assurance Company, Old Mutual Investment Group, Old Mutual Pension Services Company, Mthunzi Funeral Services and MPICO Pic are inviting bids from suitably qualified, experienced and fully fledged agencies for the provision of the following Marketing and Communications services on agency contract for years 2025 and 2026.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

  1. Research Based creative Strategy
  2. Media Monitoring
  3. Brand Management
  4. PR, Media Buying and Management
  5. Communication Strategy and Production
  6. Market Intelligence
  7. Go-to-Trade Solutions and Campaign Management
  8. Copywriting
  9. Event Management

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION

  1. Evidence of past jobs and service with reputable organisations backed up by three traceable reference letters
  2. Award/pre-qualification criteria will be based on price, quality. track record and financial capacity of the prospective supplier.
  3. Agencies are required to provide monthly charge for the items applied for however, Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited is at liberty to negotiate for a monthly or retainer fee.
  4. Small and medium enterprises, youth and women led businesses are encouraged to apply.
  5. Advertising agencies with proven affiliations with reputable agencies should provide evidence of these active partnerships as an added advantage.

CONDITIONS

  1. Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any information an applicant submitted without consulting the applicants.
  2. All successful applicants shall be communicated in writing.
  3. Successful suppliers shall sign pre-agreed prices and/or rates for some goods, and services
  4. Old Mutual requires that bidders/suppliers observe the highest standards of financial and ethical conduct during the procurement and execution of contracts and has a “zero tolerance” policy towards fraud and corruption.
  5. Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited has preferential treatment to small and medium enterprises, youth and women owned businesses.
