INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROVISION OF SEEDLINGS
ASSIGNMENT TITLE: PROVISION OF TREE SEEDLINGS

Introduction:
The Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS), was established by Chapter 18:09 of the Laws of Malawi by Parliament in 1966 (Act 51). It is a humanitarian organization with a presence across all government administrative districts, organized into divisions and subdivisions.
Background:
Malawi Red Cross Society and Belgian Red Cross -Flanders signed a grant agreement with Flanders International Action Program of the Flanders government to provide financial and technical support for the Project titled ‘Strengthening community resilience to climate change through nature-based solutions in rural communities in Phalombe and Blantyre district in southern Malawi”. The Global Sustainable Technology and Innovation Community (G-STIC) provides technical support to the project. The overall aim of this project is to reduce the impact of climate change on living and environmental conditions of selected communities through adaptation and mitigation of climate risks in Malawi.
MRCS invites eligible and registered bidders to participate in a tender for the procurement, transportation, and distribution of Banana tissue culture plantlets, and High Yield Mango varieties and PAWPAW VARITIES to Phalombe District, T/A Nkhulumbe.
Objective:
The primary objective of this tender is to procure, transport, and distribute Banana tissue culture plantlets, High Yield Mango varieties and PAWPAW VARITIES to T/A Nkhulumbe in Phalombe District,
LOTS AND SPECIFICATION
There are three separates ‘Bid Lots’ as laid out in the table below
Interested bidders can bid for ANY or ALL of the Lots. Interested bidders must submit bids for each lot separately.

Tender Criteria:
Bidders interested in participating in this tender must meet the following criteria:
- Business Registration License
- Tax clearance Certificate
- Certificate Registration with the Ministry of Agriculture, and other relevant authorities.
- A valid taxes clearance certificate must be attached to the bid.
- Bidders must provide a comprehensive company profile that includes traceable references.
- Submission of a bank statement for the last three months is mandatory.
- Bids received after the published closing date, which is 19th September 2024, will not be considered and will not be opened.
