INVITATION TO BID FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLES

PROCUREMENT REFFERENCE NUMBER: MoL/130/ADMIN/ 2024/2025-001

1. The Ministry of Lands budgeted funds in the 2024- 2025 financial year and intends to apply part of these funds towards the procurement of Motor Vehicles.

2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Assets Committee, Ministry of Lands, on behalf of the Government of Malawi now invites sealed bids from Eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and delivery of Motor Vehicles as follows:

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive bidding (NCB) procedures specified in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act 2017 and Regulations 2020 of the Government of the Republic of Malawi.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding Document from the Procurement and Disposal Unit at the address given in paragraph 8 below from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00 hrs. local time (Monday to Friday, except national public holidays).

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below in paragraph 8 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20,000.00. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque and a general receipt will be issued.

6. Sealed bids clearly marked “Tender for supply and delivery of Motor Vehicles” must be delivered to the address below in paragraph 8 on or before the date and time indicated below in paragraph 7. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders and/or their representatives who may choose to attend.

7. The closing and opening date for submission of bids will be on Tuesday, 28th August, 2024 at 14:00 Hours Local Time at Zowe House, Ministry of Lands Conference Room.
