INVITATION TO BID (ITB) FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A FOOTBALL STADIUM, OFFICES AND ASSOCIATED EXTERNAL WORKS AT BAT GROUNDS, BLANTYRE CITY
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (ICB)
DATE OF ISSUE: MONDAY, 10TH JUNE, 2024

1. Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) has secured funding from the Government of Malawi under Public Sector Investments Project (PSIP) and intends to use the funds as follows:

1. Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors in the NCIC Unlimited Building Works Category.

2. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures and in full compliance with provisions of Malawi’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (No.27 of 2017) and its Subsidiary Regulations. Bidding is open to all bidders as defined in the Bidding Document.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below between 09:00 to 15:00hrs from Monday to Friday by contacting the Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU).

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained from the address at 8(a) below upon a non-refundable cash deposit of MK15,000.00 to National Bank Account Number: 1802283 and the bidding documents shall be collected at the Procurement and Disposal Unit of MNCS Head Office, behind Kamuzu Stadium, upon production of a valid National Bank deposit slip during periods specified at 3 above.

5. A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting and a Mandatory Site Visit shall be conducted on, Friday, 21* June, 2024 in the MNCS Boardroom at the MNCS head office from 10:00 hours.

6. Sealed bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 10:00 hours on 24th July, 2024. The Procurement reference number should be clearly marked on the envelopes.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(a) from 10:00hrs on 24th July, 2024.
