Good Neighbors International (GNI) Malawi invites interested and experienced suppliers to submit pre-qualification documents for the supply of goods and services for the 2024-2026 financial years. This pre-qualification process aims to establish a list of qualified suppliers who meet our standards and requirements.
Scope of Goods and Services
The pre-qualification is for the supply of the following categories:

| GNM-PREQ-04 | Catering services | Provision of catering services for organizational events, meetings, and daily operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality |
| GNM-PREQ-05 | Construction services | Provision of comprehensive construction services including new construction, major renovations, and infrastructure projects to ensure the development and enhancement of facilities. |
| GNM-PREQ-06 | Plumbing services | Provision of plumbing services including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems to ensure efficient water supply and drainage within facilities. |
| GNM-PREQ-07 | Electrical services | Provision of electrical services including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable electrical infrastructure. |
| GNM-PREQ-08 | Motor vehicle services | Provision of motor vehicle services exclusively through certified garages to ensure professional maintenance, repair, and management of the organization’s fleet. submissions from individual service providers will not be considered |

| GNM-PREQ-13 | Security services | Provision of security services including personnel and alarm systems for the protection of organizational assets, including CCTV installation, electric fence, alarm monitoring services and intruder detection. |
| GNM-PREQ-14 | Blankets, Jerseys and sweaters | Supply of blankets, jerseys and sweaters like woolen blankets, knitted jerseys, cotton sweaters, uniform and other warm clothing items. |
| GNM-PREQ-15 | Printing, branding and designing services | Provision of screen-printing services for various items including attire, promotional materials, high-quality and durable prints including T-shirts, calendars, stickers, caps, bags and banners. |
| GNM-PREQ-16 | Car hire services | Provision of car hire services including short-term and long-term rentals to meet the transport need of the company |
| GNM-PREQ-17 | Air travel services | Provision of air travel services including airline ticket booking, travel insurance, VISA assistance, managing domestic and international flights to meet the travel needs of the organization. |
| GNM-PREQ-18 | Plastic materials | Supply of different plastic materials like plastic containers, packaging materials and plastic sheets (black sheets) |
| GNM-PREQ-19 | Grocery items | Supply of various groceries items for the organization. These include laundry soaps, sugar and many more |
| GNM-PREQ-20 | Livestock supply | Supply of various types of healthy livestock to support the agricultural and farming operations of the organization. |
| GNM-PREQ-21 | Medical suppliers | Providing various medical supplies and equipment to support the healthcare and medical needs of the organization thereby ensuring compliance with safety measures. |
| GNM-PREQ-22 | Media and promotion services | Provision of advertisement services including the creation, placement and management of advertising campaigns to promote the organization activities and services |
| GNM-PREQ-23 | Hardware supplies | Provision of various hardware supplies including high-quality tools, building materials and related equipment |
| GNM-PREQ-24 | Farm inputs | Provision of agricultural farm inputs to support farming operations and enhance crop production. This includes variety of certified seeds, fertilizers, tree seedlings and irrigation systems |
| GNM-PREQ-25 | Subterranean crop Seedlings | Healthy, robust seedlings of various root and tuber crops, including but not limited to cassava, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, et cetera. |

| GNM-PREQ-27 | Automotive | Provision of motor vehicle materials and parts to support the maintenance and replacement maintenance supplies for organization fleet e.g. tyres |
2. Submission Requirements
Interested suppliers wishing to be considered for the pre-qualification should submit the following requirements in their proposals:
- Company profile; including legal name, physical address (postal, email, phone) and contact details.
- Registration documents; copies of business registration certificates and licenses.
- Valid license of licenses with the relevant statutory bodies e.g. National Water Resources Authority (NWRA) for borehole drilling suppliers, National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) for constructors.
- Experience and references; details of past projects and a minimum of two written references from your key customers /reputable organizations
- Financial capability evidence; attach audited financial statements for the recent 3 years, stamped bank statements and a proof of valid bank confirmation letter.
- Technical capacity; information on facilities, equipment, and personnel.
- Compliance certificates; proof of compliance with relevant regulations including MRA and PPDA
- Litigation history; detailed history of any legal proceedings for the past three years.
- Other supporting documents; any other documents that support the supplier’s capability.

3. Fraud and Corruption
Good Neighbors International (GNI) Malawi maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against fraud and corruption. We require all suppliers and partners to adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct their business activities with transparency. Any form of corruption, bribery, theft, misappropriation, or other fraudulent activities is strictly prohibited. Violations of our fraud and corruption policy will lead to immediate disqualification from the prequalification process, potential termination of contracts, and legal action, based on the severity of the misconduct

Please ensure the subject line of your email and the label on your sealed envelope both include the ‘lot number and name of the category’ for which you are applying.
