INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO PROVIDE AUDIT SERVICES

Golden Gate Memorial School is an equal opportunity employer providing early childhood, primary and secondary education. Located at Biwi, in the capital city, Lilongwe, the school has been in operational existence for at least twenty years.

The school is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals or firms to submit expression of interest to undertake audit services for the school. With the objective to obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statement reflects a true and fair view of the financial position and its operations in accordance with IFRS International Financial Reporting Standards and ISA, International Standards of Auditing.

The Interested qualified individuals or firms should submit expression of interest to Golden Gate Memorial School, including the following:

  1. Business Registration Certificate.
  2. Qualifications and competencies of Key staff for the assignment.
  3. Evidence of at least two (2) similar exercises done within the past 5 years.
  4. Provide technical and financial proposal
  5. Summary of the quotation and scope of work
  6. Written submissions (reference letters) for key staff from ICAM or other reputable bodies. Golden Gate Memorial School reserves the right to verify individual standings with ICAM or other relevant bodies.
  7. Must be a Practicing Member and registered under ICAM
  8. Potential or actual conflict of interest in taking up the role and must be independent from GGMS
  9. Must submit a work plan and time of delivery of report

  • Financial statement audit
  • Tax advisory
  • Systems evaluation training and recommendation
  • Management letter.

Communication of reports and statements of financial statements shall be presented in English and to the Management as Well as the Board of Directors and Those who fulfil the requirements should submit their written applications, not later than 15th November 2024 to the following address:
