INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – TIMBER HARVESTING SERVICES
Pyxus Agriculture Limited is a subsidiary of a trusted provider of responsibly sourced, independently verified, sustainable and traceable agricultural products and ingredients, operating in Malawi servicing the needs of its shareholders and their customers. The company hereby invites expressions of interest from reputable & experienced contractors to provide timber harvesting services as detailed below:
Scope of Work
- Mechanised felling of artificially planted trees using chainsaws.
- Cross cutting felled trees to firewood logs of one meter (1m) length using chainsaws.
- Manual or mechanized extraction of logs to road side.
- Stacking the firewood along roadsides.
- Loading firewood onto lorries. (Please note that lorries will be provided. This bid is for harvesting and loading firewood only).
The geographical locations of the work to be done and the wood volumes are detailed in the full bid documents that will be availed to those who will express their interest.

Pyxus will not be bound to award this invitation to the lowest or any other interested party. Pyxus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to engage a single or several contractors and to revoke or amend this invitation partially or fully.
