TENDER FOR DESIGNING, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF SOLAR ENERGY POWERED PUMPING SYSTEMS FOR LUCHENZA SCHEME BOREHOLES

  1. Background: Southern Region Water Board (SRWB) is a statutory body that was established in 1995 by the Laws of Malawi (cap.72.01) with the mandate to construct, maintain and extend all waterworks, for the purpose of supplying potable water for domestic, public, commercial and all other purposes to which water and waterworks are supplied or are applicable in Southern Region.
  2. Southern Region Water Board (SRWB) has received funding from Water for Life for the Tender for Designing, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Solar Energy Powered Pumping Systems for Luchenza Scheme Boreholes in Mulanje Zone. The project will be implemented under the responsibility of VEI.
  3. SRWB now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors who are registered with NCIC in the MK500 Million Category and above for the works indicated above.
  4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Tender procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No.27 of 2017 and Public Procurement Regulations, 2020 of the Government of the Republic of Malawi.

Bids, clearly marked “Tender for Designing, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Solar Energy Powered Pumping Systems for Luchenza Scheme Boreholes” must be delivered to the address below by 17h July, 2024, before 14:00 am local time.
