INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PESTICIDES FOR CONTROL OF FALL ARMYWORM AND AFRICAN ARMYWORM
PROCUREMENT REF. No.:019/CROPS/PESTICIDES/2024/25/01
1. The Government of the Republic of Malawi (GOM) through the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Crop Development), has budgeted resources to be used for the procurement of Pesticides for control of fall armyworm and African armyworm.
2. The Secretary for Agriculture, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for the supply and delivery of the following:

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures contained in the Public Procurement Act 2017 and Public Procurement Regulations 2020 of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from address 7(a) below and addressed to; Attention: The Chairman, Internal Procurement & Disposal Committee (IPDC). Bidders may inspect the Bidding Documents at the address (7a) given below from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon and from 1:30 pm to 4:30pm in the afternoon on working days only.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders to the address (7a) below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Kwacha only). The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque and a General Receipt will be issued for all payments from the cash or bank certified cheque. The Bidding Documents will be collected by bidders immediately upon payment.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address (7b) below (by depositing in a tender box located on the first floor at room 76) before 10:00 hours Local Time on 13th September 2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address (7c) below immediately after 10:00 hours Local Time on 13th September, 2024 in the Conference Room. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
