1. The Chitipa District Council has received Funding from the World Bank under Governance to Enable Service Delivery (GESD) Project and intend to use part of the funds for the Construction of Various projects within the District.
2. The Chairman, Internal Procurement and Dispersal Committee (IPDC) Chitipa District Council – Now invites Quotations in Sealed Envelops from Eligible Bidders/Contractors who can ably and skillfully do the construction projects/works below:

3. Bidders/Contractors are at liberty to Bid for More than One (1) Lot. The basis for bid evaluation and contract award will be by individual lot. No Bidder/Contractor shall be awarded more than one Lot. Bidders/Contractors willing to bid for more than one Lot should be prepared to pay for each and every additional Lot

Bidders for All the Project should be in the Up to 200.0Million NCIC – Buildings Category
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with National Competitive bidding (NCB) under Minor works category and Procedures contained in the World Bank Rules and Regulations as also enshrined in Public Procurement Act and Regulations of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all interested bidders.
5. A complete set of Request for Quotations(RFQ) /Bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested bidders at a Non-Refundable Fee of Mk30,000.00 (Payable at Chitipa District Council’s Cashier’s office) followed by the collection of the document from the address below:

6. Completely Filled Request for Quotations(RFQ’s) /Bids in Sealed Envelopes, clearly marked with Procurement Reference Number and Lot Number; must be Registered and Deposited in a Tender Box that will be placed adjacent to the main entrance of Chitipa District Council Offices; on or before Friday 6th December, 2024 – 10.00am. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened at the address below on Friday, 6th December, 2024 at 10:00am
