1.0 Phalombe Teachers Training College through the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (NoEST) has budgeted funds in the 2024-25 financial year and intends to use part of these funds as payment for the Provision of Food rations for the student teachers care and service delivery.
2.0 The Chairperson, Internal Procurement Committee (IPC) now invites sealed bids under National Competitive Biding (NCB) from all eligible bidders for the above goods and services.
3.0 Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Open Tendering Procedures. The Suppliers and the Service Provider wil be selected in accordance with procedures described in the bid documents and the Public Procurement Act of 2003, The Public Procurement Regulations 2004 and the procedures described in Part 1: Proposal Procedures, herein.
4.0 Purchase of the Bidding Documents will be done in the cash office of Phalombe Teachers Training College upon payment of a nan-refundable fee of MK10, 000.00 cash. Cheques are not accepted.
5.0 Completed Bidding Documents in sealed envelopes clearly marked, “The Subject of the Procurement” should be submitted to the address below, by 7th January, 2025, 14:00 hours local time and be deposited in the tender box at the Administration block. There will be a public opening of the submitted bidding documents on 7th January, 2025, at 14:00 hours local time in Phalombe Teacher Training College Lecturer theatre. Bidders or their representatives are free to witness the opening of the tenders.
6.0 The Contracts for the Provision of Catering Services shall be for a period of twelve months. Late bids shall be rejected.
