NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING
DATE OF ISSUE OF BID DOCUMENTS: 26th June, 2024

1. The Law Commission has allocated resources for the supply and delivery of IEC Materials and provision of non-consultancy services.

2. The chairperson of the Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee for the Law Commission, therefore, invites sealed bids for eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of the goods and service as follows:

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (2017) and the Public Procurement Regulations (2020) of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all eligible bidders.

5. Interested eligible bidders may purchase a complete set of English bidding documents in person upon payment of a non- refundable fee of MK 10,000.00 at Law Commission’s Accounts Office from 8:00 am to 12: 00 noon and from 1: 30 pm to 4:00 pm local time. (Monday to Friday, except on public holidays). The method of payment will be cash and a General Receipt will be issued for all payments.

6. The bidding documents will be issued to the bidder immediately upon presentation of an Original General Receipts as proof of payment. Bidding documents in electronic format will be issued from the Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU), 1st Floor, Room No. 37 and hard copies will be issued from Stores, 2nd Floor, and Room No.15.

7. Sealed Bids, clearly marked with “Procurement Reference No. and Tender Description” should be submitted through the address below by registering with the Procurement and Disposal Unit and depositing in a tender box located near Law Commission’s Stores Office on 2nd floor at or before 14:00 hours (local time) on 25th July, 2024. Electronic bidding WILL NOT be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected and returned unopened.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address above at 14:00 hours (local time) on 25th July, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a duly signed Bid Securing Declaration Form on the bidders’ Letterhead.
