INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE SUPPLY OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND OTHER ITEMS

The Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS) is a voluntary based humanitarian organization established in 1966 by Act 51 of Parliament with the mandate to assist the vulnerable communities. The recent cholera outbreak in Malawi which started in March, 2022 with the first case reported in Machinga district. The outbreak quickly spread to all 29 districts affecting the entire country. It is against this background that MRCS received funding for cholera preparedness in five districts for Nsanje, Blantyre, Mangochi, Salima and Karonga to provide preventive WASH and Health services such as hygiene education and promotion, sanitation and safe water supply so as to prevent and control cholera outbreak that may occur.

Note:

MRCS has zero tolerance for all forms of harassment, discrimination, abuse, and bullying, especially pertaining to children and vulnerable adults.
