Let’s Build in Malawi is cooperating with The Government of Malawi to improve public secondary school infrastructure. Let’s Build work is focused on the construction of classroom blocks and pit latrines in public secondary schools through NCIC registered contractors and Consultants. The aim is to support Ministry of Education with upgrading and expanding public secondary school infrastructure, including water and sanitation (WASH) facilities, to reach their goal of ‘increased equitable access to quality secondary education for all’.

Our Mission is to build classrooms to increase children and youth enrolment in secondary education.

We believe well designed and built classrooms help to increase attendance, improve student outcomes, support better teaching, and reduce student dropouts.

In 2024, Let’s Build is constructing 23 double classroom blocks in 13 existing public community day secondary schools in Lilongwe. The focus is filling in identified classroom needs in existing secondary schools guided by best local practices. Let’s Build in Malawi receives funding from Let’s Build Foundation from Norway.

Let’s Build Malawi invites applications from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of secondary school student’s single seater desks, Teachers chairs and tables as detailed below:

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION VIA EMAIL

• Email submission should be addressed to malawi.tender@letsbuild.foundation
• The subject of the email should be: MW.ITT.2024.01_Name of Supplier
• Emails should not exceed 25mb – if the files sizes are greater than 25mb please split the submission into two emails indicating as such.
• Do not send tender related questions to this email address as they will not be answered.
• All attached documents in support of the bid should be cleared labelled to indicate what each file and information relates to.
• Do not copy or CC other Let’s Build email addresses into the email when submitting.
• Bids will be received no later than 4pm, Thursday 27 June 2024.
• All questions relating to clarification of the tender will only be accepted in writing addressed to the following: contact@letsbuild.foundation The subject of the email should include the Invitation to Tender reference number: MW.ITT.2024.01
