INVITATION FOR BIDS
Date of Issue: 13th August, 2024.

1. The Government of the Republic of Malawi through Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare (MoGCDSW) and the German Government through KfW (BMZ 201767631) for the Social Cash Transfer Programme (SCTP) have budgeted resources in their 2024/25 Financial Year towards the cost of implementing various programs and they intend to apply part of the funds towards payments of contracts for the Supply and Delivery of Motor vehicles.

2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee, Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Motor vehicles as follows: –

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in accordance with the open tender bidding procedures contained in the Government of Malawi’s Public Procurement Act 2017, and Regulations of the Republic of Malawi 2020 and are open to all eligible bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from Procurement Office at Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare from 08.00 to 12-00; 13.00 to 16.00 hrs. local time (Monday to Friday, except on National Public Holidays and Weekends).

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained from the Procurement Office Room No.130 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK5, 000.00, at the Cash Bat the Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare, Capital Hill.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below (in 11) and deposited in the Tender Box, marked “Tender box” at the Reception Area on 3rd floor at Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare at or before 14.00 hours (local time) on Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 and must be in a sealed envelope marked with the respective Procurement numbers.

7. All Bidding Documents should enclose a dully signed bid securing declaration.

8. Late bids shall be rejected.

9. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 at 14.00 hours (local time) and meet their own travelling costs in the Conference room of the address below.

10. The Procuring Entity reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
