INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)
FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

1. The Government of Malawi (GoM) acting through the Ministry of Agriculture with funding from International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) has budgeted resources for procurement of motor vehicles under Sustainable Agriculture Production Programme II (SAPP II). The Ministry, through the Sustainable Agriculture Production Programme I| (SAPP I) intends to apply part of the funds for payment of Contracts for supply and delivery of motor vehicles.
2. Government of Malawi, through Ministry of Agriculture, now invites bids from eligible Bidders to supply and deliver the following motor vehicles:

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information, inspect and buy the bidding document from Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, except public holidays and lunch hour, at the office of:

4. A complete set of bidding document is to be sold to interested bidders at non-refundable fee ten-thousand-kwacha (MK10, 000.00) cash Accounts Office, SAPP PMU, Amina House, along Chilambula Road starting from 16th December 2024.
5. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Tendering procedures as contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Asset Act of 2017
6. Sealed envelopes clearly marked Procurement of Motor vehicles should be deposited in the Tender Box, placed at Procurement Unit, Room 76, first floor at or before 13th January 2025 at 10:00 AM, and addressed to:

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders’ representatives who may choose to attend the opening on 13th January 2025, Ministry of Agriculture, Capital Hill, 1st Floor, Conference Room.
8. Late submission of bids will be rejected.
