INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, COMPLETION AND MAINTENANCE OF OUTSTANDING WORKS AT THE MULTIPURPOSE HALL BUILDING

  1. The Kaning’a CCAP Church, Nkhoma Synod, hereinafter referred to as the Employer, is constructing a Multipurpose Hall Building at its premises in Area 47, Sector 2, Lilongwe City.
  2. The Employer now invites sealed Bids from experienced contractors for the construction, completion and maintenance of the whole of the outstanding works. The bidders’ attention is drawn to ITB 1.1 in Bid Data Sheet of the Bidding Documents for a summary description of the scope and sections of the works.
  3. Bidding is open to interested eligible Bidders that are registered with the National Construction Industry Council of Malawi in the K1.0 billion category or higher. Bidding documents shall be issued electronically to bidders after the receipt of a fifty thousand kwachas (MWK50,000.00) fee either in cash or after the Employer’s receipt of proof of a direct bank transfer to:

  1. With effect from 12th November until the deadline for the submission of bids, the Employer shall email the bidding documents eligible bidders upon receipt of the a copy of the bidder’s NCIC registration certificate or other proof registration, the proof of payment and an email address for the issuance of the documents but shall not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed receipt of the documents by any bidder.
  2. The expected construction period for the whole of the work is NOT EXCEEDING 40 weeks. Bidders are expected to determine their own construction period.
  3. Only bidders that shall satisfy all the qualification criteria specified in the bidding documents shall be eligible for an award of contract.
  4. Sealed bids clearly marked ‘COMPLETION OF OUTSTANDING WORKS AT THE MULTIPURPOSE HALL BUILDING’ shall be delivered by the deadline of 12:00 pm on 19th December 2024 to the address below.

  1. The BID opening date and time will be communicated by email to all participating bidders after the closure of the bid submission period.
  2. The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids without incurring any liability or obligation to any bidder, person or entity.
