INVITATION FOR BIDS
NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDDING (NCB)
DATE: 6TH JUNE 2024
1. The Lilongwe City Council has budgeted public funds to be used for supply and delivery of various goods and provision of various services for 2024/2025 financial year under Framework Agreement.
2. The Chairperson of the Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee of the Council now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement as detailed below:

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 17, 2017 and its subsidiary legislation.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from; The Principal Procurement Officer, Lilongwe City Council, Civic Offices, Off Robert Mugabe Crescent, City Centre during working hours from 08:00am to 12:00 Noon and from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K15,000.00 to the cashier at FDH Bank Service Centre located at Civic Offices and bidding documents shall be collected from the Procurement Unit of Lilongwe City Council Civic Offices, Room No. 114. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheques only.
6. Sealed Bids clearly marked with the “Description of the Procurement and Reference No.” and addressed to the address below (6a) must be deposited in the Tender Box placed at the Civic Offices reception, at or before 5th July 2024 at 10:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration form. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or representatives who choose to attend at the address below (6b) at 10:00am on 5th July, 2024.
