1. Machinga Teacher Training College through Ministry of Education has funds under its 2024/2025 financial year budget and intends to use part of these funds for payment of Catering services, Stationary & Computer accessories and Hardware maintenance materials.
2. Machinga Teacher Training College invites sealed bids from eligible, capable and interested bidders for the provision of the listed Services for a period of one year.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Act and Regulations of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all interested service providers from eligible source countries.
4. Preference margins towards indigenous Malawian companies, and also towards Local, small and medium enterprises will be 20% .
5. Bid currency shall be in Malawi Kwacha.
6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Chairperson, IPDC, Machinga Teacher Training College, P.O. Box 140, Liwonde; during normal working hours Telephone:

7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased during normal working hours by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Thousand Kwacha (K5, 000.00) only
8. Payment of the Bidding documents will be done in Cash only in Accounts Office at Machinga Teacher Training College. Bid documents will be issued from IPDC Chairperson, upon production of a Receipt from accounts office at Machinga Teacher Training College.

10. Bidders are free to bid for one or more lots.
11. Bids should be delivered by depositing in the Tender Box which is located at the entrance of Administration block at or before 14.00 hours local time on Monday 15th July, 2024 and must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to one (1%) percent of the bidders total bid value in Malawi Kwacha as provided for in the Instruction to Bidders. The bid security will be in form of Bank Bid Guarantee/Bond or Bid Securing declaration.
12. Bids should be delivered in sealed envelopes and clearly marked on top “provision of Catering Services (Lot S1) or Stationary and Computer Accessories (Lot G2) or Maintenance & Hardware (Lot G3)”.
13. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who choose to attend in the Library Hall of Machinga Teacher Training College, P O Box 140, Liwonde, Malawi at 14.00 hours local time on, Monday 15th July, 2024 .
14. Late bids shall be rejected.
