FPAM RESOURCE MOBILIZATION STRATEGY REVIEW AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCE MOBILIZATION AND PARTNERSHIP STRATEGY 2024-2028

(INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANCY)

FPAM is a local non-governmental organization launched in 1999 and is affiliated to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), as a full Member Association. FPAM’s vision is to have a Malawian society with access to quality and comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SHR) information and services. FPAM provides integrated comprehensive SHR services, general medical and surgical services to young people aged 10-24, men, women and children and other high risk key populations through its service delivery points branded as FPAM clinics.

Strategic objective

FPAM Strategic plan 2023-2028 identified the following strategic pillars over the period of its implementation. Each of these strategic pillars has a set of objectives necessary to contribute to their achievement:

  • Strategic Pillar 1: Client-centered services.
  • Strategic Pillar 2: Societal and legislative change to increase access to SHR services.
  • Strategic Pillar 3: Revitalize strategic partnerships footprint and mode of operation.
  • Strategic Pillar 4: Develop institutional and human capital capacity.

Objective of the assignment

The main objective of the assignment is to develop a Resource Mobilization and Partnership strategy.

Following the expiry of the period covered by the Resource Mobilization Strategy (2016-2019). FPAM intends to take stock of the progress made with respect to its implementation and develop a successor plan to cover the period 2024-2028 and establish an overview of current and potential funding opportunities for FPAM to increase long term sustainability of the organization
