EXTENSION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR GOODS, SERVICES AND WORKS

Malawi Against Physical Disabilities (MAP) is a charitable organization sub-vented by the Government of Malawi to finance its operations. The organization hosts a number of donor funded projects that contribute or are in line with its mandate, which provides free medical rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities in Malawi through physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, provision of assistive devices and many more. We run outreach programs through regional offices in Blantyre, Zomba, Lilongwe and Rumphi. We also run the Kachere Rehabilitation Centre Situated in Blantyre, which is the only referral facility for persons with disabilities in the country. We also produce assistive devices in workshops placed in the regional offices.
MAP has also a Medical Rehabilitation College (MRC) which provide diploma in medical rehabilitation (Rehabilitation Technicians) and diploma in occupational therapy (Occupational Therapy Technicians) to students who will be able to provide medical rehabilitation services and occupational therapy to persons with disabilities after graduation.
Malawi Against Physical Disabilities (MAP) would like to shortlist prequalified suppliers of goods, services and works for financial year 2025 as listed in the table below. MAP will Procure the goods, services and works from the pre-qualified suppliers in compliance with MAP Procurement Regulations.

Eligibility
- Physical offices
- Business Profile including contact address e.g. postal, e-mail and phone
- Evidence of previous two years’ contracts with other customers and their contact details.
- Valid business registration certificate/business license.
- MSME Certificate
- Proposed delivery and payment terms
- Demonstrate the capacity to deliver the goods and services.
- Availability of key personnel staff and proof of competence if applying for provision of services.
- Tax clearance Certificates and Withholding Tax Exemption Certificate with proper Tax Payer Identification Number (TPIN) with duly compliance with Malawi Taxation Laws.
- Indicate quality of goods, services and after sales support and warranty.
Conditions
- Pre-qualification will be conducted in full compliance with the provisions of Malaw’s Public Procurement and Disposal Asset Act no 27 of 2017 and
MAP Internal Procurement Policy Procedures. - Electronic submission will not be allowed and any late delivery of pre-qualification documents will not be allowed.
- Sealed proposals clearly marked “pre-qualification of suppliers for goods, services and works” quoted Lot No being applied for, should be delivered in our tender box at our head office Blantyre before 16:00 hours on 3rd September, 2024 to the address below.
