BACKGROUND
Castel Distribution Limited (CDL) is the leading producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages in Malawi. For over 50 years, Castel Distribution Limited has supplied the Malawi market with global and local alcoholic beverage brands namely Castel Beer, Doppel Munich, Kuche Kuche, Pomme Breeze, Carlsberg Green, Carlsberg Special, and Carlsberg Chill. The Company is also well known for its legendary spirits, Malawi Gin, Malawi Vodka, and Premier Brandy.
Castel Distribution Limited would like to recruit alcoholic beverage distributors for all its products to expand its reach within the Malawian market.
Our goal is to offer distributorship to the most qualified individuals or businesses across Malawi as we aim to establish a long-term business relationship with them.
These distributors will enjoy exclusive representation of our beer & spirit products in the authorized territory at the most competitive prices.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Interested distributors should fulfill the following requirements:
- Minimum financial capacity of MWK150,000,000 – MWK300,000,000 in form of a Bank Guarantee.
- Infrastructure: warehouse domiciled of about 500 sqm
- Distribution trucks (number depending on territory) ranging from 5t to 10t.
- Knowledge and proven experience in the sales and distribution business
- A valid Business Registration Certificate and Taxpayer Registration
- Established and traceable business premises within Malawi
- ICT Infrastructure (Internet Connectivity)
- Ability to work anywhere in the country.
- Provide copies of national IDs, driver’s license, and/or passport
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The distributor will comply with all CDL’s product storage and handling guidelines.
- The distributor will comply with all required regulations about alcoholic beverage distribution within their local markets.
- The distributor will comply with CDL’s code of conduct, principles, and other legal requirements.
- The distributor will comply with agreed monthly sales targets.
- The distributor will comply with CDL’s
- Responsible Marketing Policy and will not place advertisements that directly target persons under the age of 18.
