1. Background
ADMARC Limited was incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 and therefore the company is a limited company with the Government holding a majority shareholding of 99%.
The main business of the Company consists of the purchase and resale of agricultural produce and farm inputs and implements. The Company operates through depots and markets throughout Malawi with its Headquarters and registered office on Tsiranana Road in Limbe (P. O. Box 5052, Limbe). The business which the company is authorized to carry is unrestricted.
Notwithstanding the above, the role of ADMARC remains that of:
- Implementing government agricultural policies like price stabilization and food security.
- Providing readily available markets for smallholder farmers for all agricultural commodities and implements.
- Contributing to macroeconomic development through value addition and commodity export.
ADMARC Limited seeks to Design, Develop, Install, Commission and Maintain an Integrated Management Information System. The Company therefore invites suitably qualified and eligible firms to submit sealed expressions of interest for the Designing, Developing, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of an Integrated Management Information System
2. Qualifications
ADMARC is looking for a consultancy firm with demonstrated experience in Designing, Developing, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of an Integrated Management Information System. The proposal should include a curriculum vitae for the members of a team of consultants where appropriate. The ICT Company and its members shall meet the following:
- Been in practice for at least Ten (10) Years and the key personnel to execute the assignment shall be qualified ICT Technicians with a minimum of at least five (5) years’ experience.
- Firm profile includes organizational structure, general qualifications and relevant experience of key staff who will directly be involved in these services.
- Summary of the potential benefits to the company of selecting the ICT firm.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the nature of the company’s business and the structure of the organization.
- Information regarding the relevant sector experience and experience of clients comparable to the company in organizational status and size.
- Explanation of the Designing, Development, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of an Integrated Management Information System Company’s approach and details of reporting arrangements.
- Experience in similar conditions and proof of availability of relevant and appropriate skills.
- Descriptions and details of similar assignments undertaking.
- Sufficiency in terms of resources.
Expressions of Interest will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act 2017. Participation is open to all eligible consultants.

A Consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method.
