CONSULTANCY

LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN) ASSESSMENT AND DESIGN MAINTENANCE

AHL Tobacco Sales Limited, a subsidiary of AHL Group Plc, is inviting applications from reputable and experienced ICT consulting firms to carry out a Local Area Network (LAN) assessment and design maintenance for existing network infrastructure at its Head Office in Lilongwe, Limbe, Chinkhoma and Mzuzu Floors.

A. Terms of Reference

The consulting firm/consultant shall: –

  1. Conduct a familiarization meeting with the IT Department of the company to appreciate the existing Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure.
  2. Assess effectiveness and efficiency of the existing Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure for Lilongwe, Limbe, Chinkhoma and Mzuzu Floors;
  3. Carry out a problem diagnosis for the Local Area Network infrastructure at Lilongwe, Limbe, Chinkhoma and Mzuzu Floors:
  4. Outline solutions to address the problems in the infrastructure;
  5. Advise on the appropriate design for an effective and efficient Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and related equipment; and
  6. Submit a consultancy report on findings and solutions.

B. Conditions for application

Interested firms/consultants must submit the following documents:

  1. Valid Business Registration Certificate
  2. Physical and postal contact addresses and phones
  3. Referees/References from organizations where they conducted similar works
  4. A record of consulting team/consultants indicating their academic and professional qualifications and experience
  5. A record of previous works carried out in similar consultancy services

AHL Tobacco Sales Limited reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any information submitted without consulting any interested consulting firms/ consultant. The company will not be bound to accept the lowest or any financial proposal.

C. Duration of the Assignment
The duration of the assignment is seven days. Interested applicants should submit their technical and financial proposals in sealed bids to the following address:
