Franchise Model Implementation of School Meals Program (SMP) in 10 Primary Schools

Are you a local organization passionate about education, nutrition, and community development? Do you have the skills and experience to manage a sustainable School Meals Program (SMP) that improves the lives of students while fostering local entrepreneurship?

Ulalo invites proposals from qualified local organizations to implement the School Meals Program (SMP) in 10 primary schools in Kazuni and Thunduwike under a franchise model. This opportunity forms part of the Community Activation, Natural Resources Management, and Improvement of Social Infrastructure (CANARASI) Project, a partnership between Ulalo, Chancen durch Bildung and BMZ, aimed at enhancing educational outcomes and nutrition in rural communities surrounding Vwaza Marsh National Park.

Who Can Apply?

  • Local NGOs with experience in community development, education, or school feeding programs.
  • Organizations capable of managing a franchise model, providing consistent quality, and adapting to local needs.

Organizations based in Mzimba North and familiar with Kazuni and Thunduwike communities, within the Vwaza game reserve catchment area.

Funding
Each selected organization will receive MK 15,000,000 for the implementation period, covering set-up, training, farm inputs, equipment, and monitoring.
