CALL FOR PROPOSALS

CLIMATE-RESILIENT HEALTH AND WELL-BEING FOR RURAL COMMUNITIES IN SOUTHERN MALAWI-FORMATIVE RESEARCH

Save the Children International in Malawi is inviting submissions of proposals, both technical and financial for Climate-resilient Health and Well-being for Rural Communities in Southern Malawi- Formative Research Consultancy. Detailed technical specifications are included within the Terms of Reference document. If you are interested in submitting a bid, please contact the Supply Chain Department at the following address scimalawi.consultant@savethechildren.org to express your interest and request the Terms of Reference which will be sent to you by return.

Please note that submissions will be reviewed on rolling basis.

Eligible bidders meeting all stated requirements are requested to adhere to the following when applying:

  1. Submit both Technical and Financial Proposals.
  2. The technical proposal should include well detailed approach to the research in line with the terms of reference.
  3. The technical proposal should also include CV, relevant certificates and copies of previous experience in terms of contracts of studies done with other organizations.
  4. Provide a timeline/work plan for conducting this study in line with the terms of reference.
  5. Supporting documents such as CVs (attached as appendices).
  6. Submit applications electronically with subject title Climate-resilient Health and Well-being for Rural Communities in Southern Malawi-Formative Research Consultancy.
  7. Physical submissions will not be accepted and information on scanned documents should be visible, not blurry.
  8. Submit applications to the below email address:
    scimalawi.consultant@savethechildren.org by_Wednesday 30th October 2024 before 17:00hrs Malawian time

Note:

  • Email addresses for requesting TORs, Queries and submission of applications are the same.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted. Physical bid/application submissions will not be accepted.
  • Save the Children reserves the right to accept the lowest, highest bidder or no bidder at all
  • Save the Children maintains a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy on child sexual abuse and reserves the right to reject a proposal if the successful bidder is found to have history of sexually abusing children. Further, the successful bidder shall be obliged to adhere to the child safeguarding policy and requirements for the organisation.
  • Save the Children maintains a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy towards fraudulent, dishonest, corruption and bribery practices. If you are approached by Save the Children staff or representative demanding or asking for any kick-back or willing to provide any privileged information in exchange of business favors, please call a toll free line on 52121. Corrective measures shall be taken according to the organizations’ policy and the supplier shall never be penalized or disadvantaged in any way.
