Introduction
The GIZ Food and Nutrition Security Programme (FNSP) and the Global Programme Transformation of Food Systems, in partnership with the Department of Nutrition, (DN) within Malawi’s Ministry of Health, seek to engage a consulting company to facilitate the validation and dissemination of the Nutrition Governance Baseline Study results and the development of the results atlas. This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen nutrition and food systems governance in Malawi by for effective implementation and better outcomes.
Context
Malawi has made substantial progress in developing its nutrition policy framework, with a strong focus on decentralized nutrition governance. The Nutrition and Food Systems Governance Baseline Study has generated important insights into the country’s governance structures and their impact on outcomes. To ensure that these findings translate into actionable plans, FNSP/TI and Department of Nutrition are commissioning a firm to support with the validation and dissemination of study results to district stakeholders, facilitate the creation of district specific action plans, and develop a comprehensive “Results Atlas” to make data accessible and actionable across different governance levels.

The subject line for the email must clearly be written: “83478121 – Short Term Consultancy to facilitate validation and dissemination of nutrition and food systems governance baseline study results and development of results atlas”
Submission of Bid
Should you be interested in implementing the tasks according to the Specifications/Terms of Reference (Annex 1), we request you to submit a bid consisting of 2 originals (Technical & Financial). Both Technical and Financial proposals in separate envelopes should be submitted on or before the closing date. The envelopes should be clearly labelled with the Consultancy Title: “83478121 – Short Term Consultancy to facilitate validation and dissemination of nutrition and food systems governance baseline study results and development of results atlas”
The envelopes should be submitted in the Tender Box at the GIZ Country Office, Area 10, Mtendere Drive, Plot No. 319. Closing date for the submission of the tender is on Thursday 28th November 2024 at 16:30hrs.
ALL SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED BY HARD COPIES.
Failure to comply with any of the tender rules shall also lead to disqualification.
