POSITION: WEDDING & FORMAL WEAR SHOP MANAGER
Wedding & Formal Wear Shop Manager in Blantyre
We are looking for a manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a retail and online wedding and formal wear in Blantyre.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales: Manage sales, including sales promotions and events. Sharing product knowledge with customers. Recruiting new and encourage existing customers and large account holders to continuing sales
- Reporting: Reporting on the profit of the retail store and whether it is reaching financial goals and devising strategies to achieve the shops targets.
- Stock: Manage stock, including ordering supplies and tracking stock
- Customer service: Offer ultimate customer care, handle customer complaints and provide after-sales service
- Marketing: Develop marketing strategies and build brand awareness
- Social Media: Devise and drive the social media strategies for the company
- Visual merchandising: Maintain store displays and visual merchandising
- Store maintenance: Maintain the store and ensure it’s presented to the highest standards
- Administrative management: Perform administrative tasks
ELIGIBILITY, CRITERIA, QUALIFICATIONS
- Recognised retail qualification
- Demonstrable experience in sales (over 5 years) particularly working with brides and grooms.
- Experience is tailoring would be ideal
- Good communication skills: professional fluency in oral and written English
- Leadership skills
- Enthusiasm,
- Self-motivation
- Organisation
- Time management.
