Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the newly created position of:

COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE

Mulanje Mission Hospital is looking to engage a dynamic and self-starting person to take up the position of Community Health Nurse with strong Christian and professional values.

Reporting to the PHC Coordinator, the Community Health Nurse will be responsible for:

• Conduct mobile clinics
• Assists in static clinics when required
• Assist in supervision of NRU & OCTC
• Follow ART/HBC/PLWA-clients and report on the follow ups to MCH in charge
• Facilitate planned training sessions for the PHC-department
• Produce weekly reports on activities carried out
• Take part in planning of PHC activities and make individual week plan.

Qualifications and personal attributes

• Diploma in Community Nursing obtained from a recognized training institution.
• Registered with Nurse & Midwife Council of Malawi
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a busy setting
• Highly motivated team player.
