Madison Recruitment is looking for individuals to fill the role of, and ICT Officer.
ICT OFFICER
The ICT Officer will be responsible for the maintenance of IT systems (including equipment & software) and identification, development and delivery of IT services to internal and external clients
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications, services etc.;
- Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
- Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
- Assists in maintaining and updating existing websites, web applications, Manages and updates content through WordPress and other content management systems.
- Participates in code reviews to improve code quality and expand technical knowledge.
- Implement new features and fixing bugs.
- Design and develop prototypes for new product initiatives based on user design specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in IT
- Experience – Two years’ job-related experience.
- Skills – Understanding of development technologies and Microsoft solutions, including, but not limited to, Visual Studio, IIS, ASP.NET/MVC/API, C#, SQL Server, T-SQL, XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, PowerShell, W3C WebAPIs, WCF, Active Directory, and ADFS.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, with a strong emphasis on agile methodologies. Self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks and communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing and work in a team-oriented environment.
