Duties and Responsibilities

9. Perform both minor and major operations on their own.
10. To ensure effective case management at health institutions.
11. To conduct ward rounds.
12. To provide clinical institutions to Interns, qualified clinicians.
13. Comfortably run the emergency medical services and casualty.
14. To conduct clinical research with the idea of getting close to
evidence-based practice.
15. To conduct routine district visits.
16. To shoulder in-service training and research programs.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor’s Degree in Paediatrics from a recognised institution and registered with Medical Council of Malawi.

Applicants must clearly indicate the POST and GRADE being applied for on the envelope. Further, applicants are requested to attach copies of certificates, Curriculum Vitae, National Identity card and working mobile phone number(s) in their applications. Serving officers must include their PSR 19 forms.
