Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out sales activations at specified locations as directed by the Team Leader;
- Have a thorough knowledge of BURN products being sold;
- Conduct product demonstrations whenever possible;
- Follow the entire customer screening and registration process;
- Sell BURN electric products in approved areas;
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude with customers;
- Be punctual, meet deadlines, and uphold professionalism in customer interactions;
- Attend trainings and meetings at BURN offices as required;
- Account for all company expenses related to their services;
- Perform other tasks as requested by company personnel, such as the team leader or management team.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieving monthly sales targets;
- Ensuring timely customer repayments;
- Ensuring customers use the product regularly;
- Maintaining high-quality data with zero errors;
- Submitting at least 4 good leads per week;
- Providing daily reports;
- Being a team player;
- Demonstrating integrity;
- Possessing strong interpersonal skills.
Skills and Experience
- Malawi School Leaving Certificate (MSCE) or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in Sales,Marketing, or Business-related fields is a plus;
- Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required;
- Willingness to learn and undergo training in sales techniques and product knowledge;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers;
- Persuasion and negotiation skills to close sales;
- Customer service orientation;
- Basic knowledge of sales principles and customer engagement techniques;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Time management and organizational skills.
