Sico Civils Limited, a subsidiary of Sico Holdings Limited now invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following vacant positions:
1. CIVIL/ IRRIGATION ENGINEER
Roles and responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and coordinate construction activities for civil and irrigation projects.
- Monitor the progress of work and adjust schedules as necessary to meet projects milestones
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, including equipment operators, laborer and skilled tradespeople.
- Manage and allocate resources, including materials, equipment and labor, effectively to maximize efficiency Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulation on the job site
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to provide updates on projects progress
- Identify and address construction related challenges promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Civil or Irrigation Engineering
- Must have at least 10 years working experience on hydraulic projects, i.e, water supply, irrigation
- Experience in at least two (2) projects of construction of irrigation schemes.
- Able to speak and write English fluently
