265 Dates Limited is a tech company that was founded in 2021 to provide IT solutions and help people find love by creating a dating site. The Dating App was launched in 2021 as a website with the App launched in June 2024.

The main goal of 265dates Dating App is to connect Malawians all over the world and to connect the rest of the world to Malawians. Through the dating App, the company connects individuals of different races and ethnicity and help create meaningful relationships, friendships and experiences. Over the past 3 years, the company has rapidly expanded. In the three months since we launched the App in June, there are over 80,000 users on the App. Since the launch, the App has gone international and has been registered as a company in the USA. In reference to current statistics, the 265dates app is the 5th biggest social platform in Malawi and is rapidly expanding. This highlights the need for competent personnel to be added to our great team.

We are looking to hire three individuals to fill the following positions;

Branding and Graphic designer

2.1. Duty station

2.2. Job Summary

The graphic designer will be responsible for creating engaging visuals that reflect our brand identity and enhance our user interaction, working on a variety of projects including social media graphics, website design, advertising materials and app visuals.

2.3. Key responsibilities:

2.3.1. Design visually appealing graphics for digital marketing campaigns, social media and the application.
2.3.2. Collaborate with marketing team to develop creative concepts that align with marketing strategies.
2.3.3. Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all visual content.
2.3.4. Assist in the design of user interfaces for our digital platforms.
2.3.5. Stay updated on design trends and incorporate innovative ideas into projects.

2.4. Qualifications and requirements

2.4.1. Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field e.g marketing, journalism, communication, business etc
2.4.2. Proven experience as a graphic designer, video editing, preferably in tech or startup setting. Applicants must attach samples of their work.
2.4.3. Proficiency in design software such as adobe creative suite (photoshop, illustrator, InDesign)
2.4.4. Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
2.4.5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
2.4.6. A passion for the dating industry and user-centered design.
