About the role:
BURN is looking for a Warehouse Manager who will supervise all activities of the facility, oversee team performance, expedite the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensure efficient and organized storage.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage all Receiving, Warehousing (both in-house and third Part / Consignment), and Dispatch operations.
  • Manage all transactions into (Receipts) and out of (Shipments) in the Microsoft NAV system
  • Manage all Issuances to Production and all other Departments within the Microsoft NAV ERP system.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce new and existing programs, and Personnel Policies and Procedures. across all BURN warehouses.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations regarding warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements in line with existing and new legislation.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and materials by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Ascertain and update inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and updating the ERP system.
  • Work with members of the Supply Chain team and management to ensure reliable inventory planning.
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Assist top management to achieve financial objectives by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions that keep them to a minimum.
  • Manage warehouse staff by recruiting and training employees.
  • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications as and when required or available.
  • Ensure continuous improvement across all warehouse areas

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as supply chain management, logistics, and business administration.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills.
