Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the official overseas relief and development agency of the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB) and is helping to promote sustainable development in the world most vulnerable countries. CRS/Malawi is inviting sealed applications from eligible and reputable interested suppliers of goods, works and services that wish to be considered for pre-qualification to run for the next 5 years.
The types of goods, works or services required are described in the table below. Interested suppliers are free to submit applications to pre-qualify for one or any combination of categories but should submit separate applications for each of the category applied for.

CATEGORY B – PROVISION OF SERVICES

1. Pre-qualification will be conducted in accordance with the pre-qualification procedures contained in the CRS policies.
2. Applications to pre-qualify for the goods, works and services described above should among other things contain the following information:
- A copy of business registration certificate.
- Company’s business profile including physical and registered address, year of establishment, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address.
- Copy of tax registration certificate and current annual tax clearance certificate.
- Copy of current registration certificate with Public Procurement and Disposal Assets Authority (PPDA) for applications in the goods and services categories.
- Copy of registration certificate with Tourism Industry for service providers under category
B1. - Copy of comprehensive insurance policy for car hire services in Category B- items B2 and B3
- Evidence of printing facilities for those in printing services -B4.
- Please attach copies of local purchase orders, signed contracts and reference letters from respective clients (At least three of each).
- Evidence of financial capability which shall include the most recent bank statement for the period of 6 months and audited statements for the past 2 years
3. Applications in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Pre-qualification of Suppliers for Goods, Works and Services” indicating the category and description of the item applied for, must be deposited in the tender box located at the Reception Area to the address below at or before 12:00 hours local time on 9th August, 2024.
